Lucy is gone...

Nap time on the couch
Lucy, our JRT who many of you know, was "put down" today.  She passed at about 11 AM central time.  Pat and I attended her at the end.  Lucy had become increasingly ill during the last few months and got to where she was unable to keep food down the last weeks and recently would not eat at all.  She also was blind from cataracts.  This was a very tough day for us. We both loved her very much.  She was 13 yrs. old.  We now have only Canuck who is destined to be a only dog.  We have no plans to replace Lucy.

After returning from the above activity,  I went to the back garage and started the installation of my auxiliary fuel tank. Other wise I would just sit an cry.  I did all the electrical work yesterday which was quite a chore.  Today was the plumbing work which turned out to be more complex than I had anticipated. I also bolted down the tank as well as I could.  Brian will need to give me a hand there.

We are having friends over for supper tonight and Pat is keeping busy preparing the meal as I work on this.

I may add more here later, we'll see, Eh?

I'm sorry to hear about Lucy, she was a good dog and a good friend. I'm sure you will see her again. I remember when i had to put my cat, Ranger, down years ago for the same symptoms, he was 15 and it was just time for him to go...
I sure miss him
