We are...

...gardening. The weather is great and expected to continue for the week.
We stopped by Ron's grave and cleaned up the headstone.

It'll be in..

...the 60's today. I have been out fertilizing the front lawn. We are expecting rain so I thought it was a good time to use up the fertilizer I inherited when we bought the place. It truly is acting as spring, golly I hope so. I am hoping to go MOREL hunting (chasing ??) soon with a local guide. After that I want to find some GINSENG too.

1st photo is a sunrise in February, 2nd photo is Grandma Moses (Pat) binding a quilt for a certain great grand daughter and the bottom photo is Pat bird watching thru the "great" room patio door.

We have so many activities scheduled for the year I suspect we will be very busy.

I apologize for not keeping the blog updated lately, just couldn't get my writing juices running.

We are fine and are really enjoying 'near' Spring weather although there have been some days where Crosby, ND weather was warmer than here. We are having some kind of weird weather patterns everywhere, eh??

Smiley is blowing all his hair in big clumps, we certainly will have a warm spring soon.

Pat is really busy on the quilting machine thanks to her many faithful customers from North Dakota. They have been a blessing for her.

I am busy re entering the VA system for my basic care (primary care). This was with some trepidation due to my experiences in the past. So far this has been a real joy.

I am looking forward to spring and the growing season. It'll really be fun.
