Well, well, well...

Snow is melting everywhere.  We are told to expect 40º weather Monday.  Please don't be fooled!  Spring is not around the corner unless the 1st of June is around the corner.  It'll get worse before it gets better.  I need to find someone to repair the rototiller before "spring" though so I had better get going on that.

My Psoriasis has been getting worse as have my arthritis  symptoms and the Doc has put me back on Methotrexate which is a 'chemotherapy' drug which has been helpful for many.  Where in the heck are those "Golden Years" we heard so much about?  Golden aint the word I would use for sure!

Pat is at the barn and I have pizza dinner to prepare.  Guess I better figure out how many carbs that will be!

I have a job.  Working at the local grocery store stocking shelves.  Four hours or more if I can on Tuesdays and Fridays when the truck comes in.  I really enjoy the job, just seem to wear out pretty quick.  But it is a lot better than sitting at home

I like this..  I look so youthful! I do have a bit of a beard now, tho.

I started this on Friday and it is Saturday morning 0800.  We are in for another warm day, in the mid 30º.  That will put a hard cap on the snow making remove more difficult and I gotta get with it .  We have a lot of snoe that was shoveled off the roof all around the house, it is several feet high in places.  So I shouldn't be in the basement shoveling words, eh

Pat is...

...coming home today! Canuck, Jumoke and I all miss her. It appears the weather is trying to cooperate too. West have a little snow to contend with when I pick up Pat in Williston. It is missing us today as I jot this missive.

We are prepared to do what we must to get Pat home.

I'm waiting at the airport (8pm). The flight is delayed until 1007. It took me 2+ hrs to get from Crosby to Williston, 70 miles. Roads were full of drifts and ice. At least it is warm in the airports.
Another long day!

It's 3 AM, -22ºF and we are getting ready...

...to start down the road to Williston (70 mi).  It is -55ºF with the wind chill.  Pat's flight was canceled!  We have another.  It leaves an hour later, 0704.  We must leave now as the roads are bad and we need a cushion a time to make the trip.

I'm back at 0915.  We had ground blizzard conditions and icy road for much of the way down and back.  For those of you who do not know "ground blizzard" it is when snow of face powder like consistency is blowing across the land.  This may be as little as 3-5 inches high to many yards high.  When it is low it can block out all vision of the road.  When it is eye level and higher it is not unlike very dense fog blocking all view.  This is really nasty stuff.

Pat's second option for a flight was canceled as we waited!  Now she is booked on a flight at 1330 hours.  She will have 40 minutes to get to her connecting flight in Denver.  Of course that flight is at the other concourse and will have to take the bus to get to it.  Little ole ladies do not run very fast or long.  I hope she is up to it.  She will arrive in Phoenix at 1730 hours and will be picked up and transported to Prescott if all goes well.
