SUNDAY, 7/31..
...Larry is here, all is well. We must finish up our packing today. The moving van will be here tomarrow at 0900. Our goods and furniture will be transferred to Minot, ND for pick up by a driver later. This is a relief for us. We were concerned that we had to beat the moving van to Indiana. We do not have a home to move in to until August 6. If out stuff arrives before then we have a problem, a big problem. It now appears that we will have some time before North American will get a driver which is good. They are contractualy required to deliver with-in 10 days of pick-up. Pat and I will be comfortably ensconced in our home on wheels at the local KOA.

The weather...
...forecast for Crosby and New Market for Aug 1,2,3,4 is GOOD. We will apparently be moving in sunny conditions although warm. That's one more worry set aside. We are planning to move into the Fifth Wheel trailer on Wed or Thu for sleeping and meals. The truck is serviced and ready as is the trailer. I will check the tire inflations again before leaving.
Meanwhile we are packing, packing, packing.

Sunday..
...now only one more Sunday to go. Pat's brother, Larry, will be leaving Oceanside, Ca. early this week (TUE) to help us out. I am very appreciative of his help. I promise this is the last move.
We are still packing. Lots of miscellaneous stuff. I have my computer stuff mostly packed. I'll shut down on next Saturday or Sunday, I guess, and put the equipment to bed.
It is amazing how the last minute stuff keeps showing up. Where in the heck did it all come from??? I believe we have thrown out, given away or sold enough to fill a small house!!
We are getting 'antsy' to get the show on the road. We both are looking forward to living in Indiana.

Just a..
...quick note.
We will be starting our last week here come Monday(25). That week will be very busy and finding time to post is going to be awkward at best. I'll be shutting down the computer on Thursday or Friday, then I'll write notes on my iTouch that will be posted later if I am around a WiFi source.
Our progress in our packing is gratifying. I believe we are going to be ready for the movers. It is the last of the "STUFF" that seems the hardest. Pat has finished the last quilt that she had to do last night so we will be taking the Quilting Machine apart and moving it upstairs for the movers. We have to recruit some help for that.

It is...
...very hot.
And it has cooled some before to photo was taken.
We have been packing more today and moving packed boxes that were stored in the back garage to the front garage. Everywhere we turn we find something that we had not considered that needs packing. Damn, will it ever end??? We have 14 days 'til move day! I do not believe we will ever do this again. Our body's are no longer willing.

We have boxes everywhere. In the garage's (front and rear), in the living room, bedrooms, office and computer room. I have already thought of something I needed only to realize I had packed it. I have no idea where???.
There is a thunder storm passing through as I write. The thunder is away from us some distance so we benefit from the noise only.

Feverishly...
...packing and getting our ducks lined up. We just don't have the energy and stamina we once had. We are getting things done! Everything in Indiana is coming together and we are very pleased. We do not need any more surprises!
Today will be more packing in preparation for the moving company. We have a bunch of stuff. Where in Gods name did it all come from!!! There are packed boxes everywhere. I keep thinking, "Oh My, we still have to unpack and find places for all this stuff", with some dismay. It can be done and it will be done.

We took the...
...horse trailer in to have the wheels packed and the tires inspected in light of the trip back to Indiana.
Otherwise it is packing and more packing. The moving company will be here on the 1st of August and we have to be ready. Once they are here we can find out how much time we have to get to Indiana. If we are the first load off we may only have as little as two days. We pray that will not be the case. If it will be longer we will stay in the fifth wheel for as long as it takes, they have up to ten days.
As the time gets closer we find ourselves becoming a little melancholy at times. It soon passes though.

Today is...
...our last day here. It has been a very hectic visit. We have a new home and all the paperwork is done. We still do not have a certain arrangement for Smiley, we've not given up hope though.
We plan to start home by sunrise here. We are hoping to be back in Crosby Sunday by dinner time (noon).

Today was...
...inspection day. All went well. We will finish up the purchase tomorrow, we hope. It has been very hot the last week we have been here. High humidity and in the 90's. We will have to adapt.
Our plan is to start for Crosby Friday. We should be back on Sunday. So much to do, so little time.
